Diaphragm Rupture Indicator Cleaning
Preparation
Replace the liquid end diaphragm
Cleaning Process
Unscrew the diaphragm rupture indicator using an AF 14 open-ended spanner
Clean the diaphragm rupture indicator with suitable liquid, preferably water
Testing and Drying
Test the diaphragm rupture indicator by immersing the tapered section in water
Does the continuous display indicate a diaphragm rupture?
Thoroughly dry the diaphragm rupture indicator
Valves Cleaning

Warning of faulty operation acknowledged
Refer to the exploded drawings in the appendix
Cleaning Process
Ensure all cleaning tools are available
Turn off the valve before cleaning
Clean the valve thoroughly

Diaphragm Replacement
Preparation
Enter the order no. (part number) of the diaphragm or spare parts kit
Take protective measures, if necessary
Note the material safety data sheet for the feed chemical
Prevent the escape of feed chemical
Ensure that the system is at atmospheric pressure
Liquid End Emptying
Empty the liquid end by turning it upside down and allowing the feed chemical to run out
Flush out with a suitable medium

Disconnect the pump from the mains power supply and ensure it cannot be switched on by unauthorized persons.
