Examine truck for obvious damage

Check overhead guard for crack or obvious damage

Check backrest for crack or obvious damage

Check forks for crack or obvious damage

If yes, describe the damage or leak

Warning: This inspection requires trained personnel with PPE!

Any visible damage on the lift truck?

All capacity, safety, and warning plates or decals are attached and legible?

Any leaks of fuel, engine coolant, transmission fluid, etc. before and after starting engine?

Any hydraulic oil leaks and loose fittings?

Driver's overhead guard, load back rest and all other safety devices are in place, securely fastened and undamaged?

Any obvious wear and maintenance problems on the mast and lift chains?

Load forks are correctly installed and locked in their proper position?

Wheels and tires are safely mounted, in good condition, and have correct air pressure?

Air cleaner element checked and cleaned

Water separator checked and cleaned

Transmission oil level checked and added if necessary

Steering axle linkage pin checked, cleaned, and lubricated

Pump mounting bolt torque checked and tightened

Drive axle mounting bolt checked and tightened

Tilt cylinder mounting and yoke bolt checked and tightened

Mast mounting bolt checked and tightened

Drive & steering axle wheel mounting bolt & nut checked and tightened

Change oil after removing drain plug.

Add oil until it just begins to flow out of the oil level.

Dispose of used oil in locally approved manner.

Engine oil and oil filter (Initial 50 hours only) Change/Replace

Warm up engine oil then park the truck in level place with forks lowered. Stop the engine and apply parking brake.

Remove drain plug and drain engine oil.

Also replace the engine oil filter. Check oil level using dipstick after changing the engine oil. Dispose of old oil in locally approved manner.
