500 Hourly Lift Chain Maintenance
NOTE: Inspect and lubricate the lift chains every PM (500 hours).
Check for rust and corrosion
Check for cracked plates
Check for raised or turned pins
Check for tight joints
Check for wear and worn pins or holes
Measure chain length
If chain is 3% longer than a new chain, it is worn and must be discarded
LIFT CHAIN LUBRICATION
Lift Chain Tension Inspection
Set the fork in its horizontal position on an even ground
Raise the fork up to 20~30 cm from the ground
Push the chain with both hands. Is the tension too high or too low on one side?
If the tension is too high or too low on one side, adjust it with the chain anchor bolt
Sign off on the lift chain tension inspection
500 Hourly / 3 Monthly Lift Truck Maintenance
Tighten Torque on critical fasteners
Tighten Drive axle mounting
Lubricate truck. (see component)
Tilt cylinder rod ends
Lubricate Mast fittings
Lubricate Lift chains
Check truck visually and inspect components
