Replace the spark plugs (2.4L PZEV*, 2.7L and 3.5L Engines).

Replace the timing belt (3.5L Engine).

Flush and replace the engine coolant.

Inspect accessory drive belt, replace if necessary

Inspect the engine air cleaner filter, and replace if necessary.

Inspect the brake linings, and replace as necessary.

Replace the air conditioning filter (if equipped).

Inspect the CV joints. Perform the first inspection at 12,000 miles (20 000 km) or 12 months.

Inspect the exhaust system. Perform the first inspection at 12,000 miles (20 000 km) or 12 months.

Inspect the front suspension, tie rod ends and boot seals for cracks or leaks and all parts for damage, wear, improper looseness or end play; replace if necessary.

Sign off on the vehicle maintenance

Look for unusual tire wear or damage

Clean and tighten the battery terminals as required

Check the fluid level of coolant reservoir

Check the fluid level of brake master cylinder

Check the fluid level of transmission

Check all lights for correct operation

Check all other electrical items for correct operation
