Inform the fire department about the upcoming test if the auxiliary output is used to notify them.

Disconnect the auxiliary output if it is used to activate a building sprinkler system.

Verify that the auxiliary alarm is activated during the fire suppression system maintenance test sequence.

Check the potential uses of the auxiliary output

Reconnect the auxiliary output if it was disconnected prior to the test.

Inform the fire department that the test is complete if they were notified before the test.

Disconnect electric power to the tumble dryer before servicing.

Close gas shut-off valve to gas tumble dryer before servicing.

Close steam valve to steam tumble dryer before servicing.

Ensure all guards/panels are in place before starting the tumble dryer.

Reconnect any removed ground wires to ensure proper grounding of the tumble dryer.

Remove all lint from lint compartments and lint screen.

Affix the appropriate country/gas category label over the main serial plate designations if required

Pressure Verification and Adjustment

Enter the current gas supply pressure

Is the gas supply pressure within the required range?

Adjust the gas supply pressure as necessary

Refer to Figure 12 for guidance

Affix appropriate country/gas category label if required

Gas Supply Pressure Verification

Enter the current gas supply pressure

Is the gas supply pressure within the normal range?

Manifold Pressure Verification and Adjustment

Enter the current manifold pressure

Is the manifold pressure within the normal range?

Adjust manifold pressure as necessary

Ensure the dryer is used for drying water washed fabrics only.

Verify that none of the following items are in the dryer

Remove debris from the lint screen filter.

Clean inside of the lint filter compartment.

Ensure the lint filter is cleaned daily.

Keep the area around the exhaust opening free from lint, dust, and dirt.
