How it works

Step 1:
Book a tour with a product expert. If you’re already a MaintainX customer, ask your Administrator to enable the OT Data Connectors feature, then follow our MQTT On-Premise Agent Setup Guide.

Step 2:
In MaintainX, create an MQTT Instance and generate an access token for secure communication.

Step 3:
Install and configure the MaintainX On-Premise Agent on your local network.

Step 4:
Map incoming MQTT topics to MaintainX meters, or enable Auto Create Meters to create new Meters automatically using the topic information.

Step 5:
Stream live data into MaintainX to generate work orders, update meters, and track asset performance automatically.
