Ensure the robot is operational and can be moved at jog velocity.

Verify there is no hazard posed by system components or other robots.

Secure the robot if work is being performed directly on it.

Activate the EMERGENCY STOP device to secure the robot during work.

Ensure the robot is moved in T1 mode (reduced velocity) if switched on.

Warn all persons concerned before switching on and moving the robot.

Ensure the industrial robot is correctly installed and fastened

Inspect the robot for visible damage from external forces

Check the motor and counterbalancing system for damage

Exchange affected components if damage is found

Ensure there are no foreign bodies or defective or loose parts on the robot

Verify all required safety equipment is correctly installed and operational

Confirm power supply ratings match local supply voltage and mains type

Pre-Maintenance Safety Measures

Carry out work outside the danger zone

If work inside the danger zone is necessary, have additional safety measures been defined?

Switch off the industrial robot and secure it with a padlock

If work with the robot controller switched on is necessary, is it being done in operating mode T1?

Work in Progress Safety Measures

Label the system with a sign indicating that work is in progress

Ensure EMERGENCY STOP devices remain active

Have all deactivated safety functions or safeguards been reactivated after work completion?

Wear protective gloves to prevent burn injuries from hot oil and surfaces.

Activate the EMERGENCY STOP device to secure the robot and prevent unintentional motions.

Warn all concerned persons before starting the procedure.

Remove 4 Allen screws with conical spring washers and take off interface A1 or cover.

Place a suitable receptacle under the oil drain hose.

Unscrew the union nut of the oil drain hose.

Activate the EMERGENCY STOP device to secure the robot.

Warn all persons concerned before starting to put the robot back into operation.

Remove 4 Allen screws with conical spring washers.

If necessary, carefully pull back interface A1.

Clean the cables between the push-in module and the inlet of the hollow shaft of axis 1.
