Are there any unusual noises when applying brakes?

Inspect steering wheel for excessive play

Check power steering fluid level

Is the steering response normal?

Ensure the key-switch is in the 'OFF' position and remove the key.

Place the forward-reverse switch in the center 'OFF' position.

Confirm the electric park brake is set.

Place blocks under the front wheels to prevent vehicle movement.

Disconnect the main positive and negative cables at the batteries.

Use a lifting strap, hoist, and jack stands of adequate capacity to lift and support the vehicle.

Raise the front of the vehicle and support with jack stands.

Ensure the key-switch is in the 'OFF' position and remove the key

Place the forward-reverse switch in the center 'OFF' position

Place blocks under the front wheels to prevent vehicle movement

Disconnect the main positive and negative cables at the batteries

Ensure the key-switch is in the 'OFF' position and remove the key.

Place the forward-reverse switch in the center 'OFF' position.

Place blocks under the front wheels to prevent vehicle movement.

Disconnect the main positive and negative cables at the batteries.

Raise the front of the vehicle and support with jack stands.

Tie up or support the front axle so it cannot fall out of the vehicle.

Ensure the key-switch is in the 'OFF' position and remove the key.

Place the forward-reverse switch in the center 'OFF' position.

Place blocks under the front wheels to prevent vehicle movement.

Disconnect the main positive and negative cables at the batteries.

Brake Body Removal and Inspection

Remove the brake body from the vehicle.

Pull the pistons out of the brake body.
