100 Hourly / 6 Monthly Fuel Pipe Check

Check mark

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: Stop the engine when attempting the check and change prescribed below. Never fail to check the fuel pipe periodically. If the fuel pipe is subject to wear and aging, fuel may leak out onto the running engine, causing a fire.

Check mark

Fuel pipe connections checked every 100 service hours or every 6 months if operation does not exceed 100 hours in 6 months?

Check mark

If the tightener band is loose, has a slight coat of lubricant been applied onto the threads and securely retightened?

Check mark

Has the fuel pipe been changed together with the tightener band every two years and securely tightened?

Check mark

If the fuel pipe and tightener band are found damaged or degraded earlier than two years, have they been changed or remedied?

Check mark

After the fuel pipe and tightener band have been changed, has the fuel system been bled?

Check mark

CAUTION: When the fuel pipe is disconnected for change, close both ends of the fuel pipe with a piece of clean cloth or paper to prevent dust and dirt from entering. Entrance of dust and dirt causes malfunction of the fuel injection pump. In addition, particular care must be taken not to admit dust and dirt into the fuel pump.
