Back Pull-Out Unit Removal
WARNING — Back Pull-Out Unit Tipping Over. Risk of crushing hands and feet!
Suspend or support the bearing bracket at the pump end
Suspend or support bearing bracket 330 to prevent it from tipping over, if required
Unbolt support foot 183 from the baseplate
Undo hexagon nut 920.01 at the volute casing
Pull the back pull-out unit out of the volute casing
Remove and dispose of joint ring 411.10
Place the back pull-out unit on a clean and level surface

Undo impeller nut 922 (right-hand thread)
Remove impeller 230 using an impeller removal device
Place impeller 230 on a clean and level surface
Remove keys 940.01 from shaft 210
Remove and dispose of joint rings 411.31/411.32
Check that all parts are in place after removal
Post removal cleanup

Remove flammable substances from the danger zone
Pre-assembly Checks
Ensure the individual parts are kept in a clean and level assembly area
Verify all dismantled parts have been cleaned and checked for wear
Confirm any damaged or worn parts have been replaced by original spare parts
Check that the sealing surfaces have been cleaned

Note: Angular contact ball bearings must be installed in 'O' arrangement. Bearings installed in pairs must always be from the same manufacturer.
Heating Components
Heat angular contact ball bearing 320.02 and inner race of cylindrical rolling element bearing 322.01 to approx. 80 °C in an oil bath
Assembly of Bearings and Components
Push angular contact ball bearing 320.02 and inner ring of cylindrical roller bearing 322.01 onto shaft 210 until they will not go any further
Use a C-spanner to tighten keywayed nut 920.21 without lockwasher 931.01
