Check applicability of steps 1 and 2 for spacer-type coupling

Shift the motor to connect it to the pump via the coupling

Fasten the motor to the baseplate

Connect the motor to the power supply

Ensure the pump is dismantled for grease replacement

Check for unfavourable operating conditions (e.g. high temperature, humidity, dust)

Remove the outer cover plate of each bearing with a suitable tool

Thoroughly clean the bearings to remove any old grease

Select the shaft unit and apply the correct grease quantity

Lifting and Moving Heavy Assemblies

Use suitable transport devices for moving heavy assemblies

Reassemble the pump according to the general assembly drawing or exploded view

Check O-rings for damage and replace if necessary

Use new gaskets with the same thickness as the old ones

Record the differential pressure across the filter

Is the differential pressure within acceptable limits?

Shut down the pump before cleaning the filter

Record the differential pressure across the filter after cleaning

Verify compliance with sections 7.4.1 to 7.4.6

Place the bearing bracket in a clean and level assembly area

Undo the grub screw in the coupling hub

Pull the coupling hub off shaft 210 with a special puller

Remove pump-end bearing cover 360.01 and drive-end bearing cover 360.02

Remove hexagon head bolts 901.01 and 901.02 as well as gaskets 400.01 and 400.02

Press shaft 210 out of the shaft seat
