Back Pull-Out Unit Removal
WARNING — Back Pull-Out Unit Tipping Over. Risk of crushing hands and feet!
Suspend or support the bearing bracket at the pump end
Suspend or support bearing bracket 330 to prevent it from tipping over, if required
Unbolt support foot 183 from the baseplate
Undo hexagon nut 920.01 at the volute casing
Remove the back pull-out unit using forcing screws
Pull the back pull-out unit completely out of the volute casing
Remove and dispose of joint ring 400.10
Place the back pull-out unit on a clean and level surface

Record the differential pressure gauge reading
Is the differential pressure within the acceptable range?

Clean the filter
Inspect the filter for any damage post-cleaning

Ensure inlet pressure is sufficient

Prerequisites
Ensure a suitable container for the used oil is on hand
Oil Draining Procedure
Place the container underneath the screw plug
Undo the screw plug (2) at the bearing bracket (3) and drain the oil
Re-insert and re-tighten the screw plug (2) after draining
Oil Refill Procedure
Select the shaft unit and note the oil quantity per bearing bracket
Re-fill with oil
Motor Removal
Read the note about spacer-type couplings
Suspend or support the motor to prevent it from tipping over
Disconnect the motor from the power supply
Unbolt the motor from the baseplate
Shift the motor to separate it from the pump
Impeller Removal
Verify that the notes and steps from Section 7.4.1 to Section 7.4.4 have been observed/carried out
Ensure the back pull-out unit is placed in a clean and level assembly area
Undo hexagon nut 920.95 (right-hand thread)
Remove impeller 230 using an impeller removal tool
Place impeller 230 on a clean and level surface
Remove keys 940.01 and 940.09 from shaft 210, if applicable
