Ensure the pump runs quietly and free from vibrations at all times.

Is the oil level correct for oil lubrication?

Check the shaft seal for proper servicing.

Check the static seals for leakage.

Check the rolling element bearings for running noises.

Are there any vibrations, noise, or increase in current input indicating wear?

Monitor the correct functioning of any auxiliary connections.

Ensure a suitable container for the used oil is on hand

Place the container underneath the screw plug

Undo the screw plug (2) at the bearing bracket (3) and drain the oil

Re-insert and re-tighten the screw plug (2) after draining

Select the shaft unit and confirm oil quantity per bearing bracket

Inspect the flexible elements of the coupling for wear

Is replacement of any parts necessary?

Check the alignment of the coupling

Inspect the coupling guard for deformation

Ensure plastic components are intact and undamaged

Verify sufficient distance of guards from rotating parts

Record the differential pressure gauge reading

Is the differential pressure within the acceptable range?

Turn off the pump before cleaning the filter

Remove the filter from the suction line

Reinstall the filter into the suction line

Turn on the pump after cleaning

Observe and carry out notes and steps from Section 7.4.1 Page 49 to Section 7.4.6 Page 51

Place the bearing bracket in a clean and level assembly area

Undo the grub screw in the coupling hub

Pull the coupling hub off shaft 210 with a special puller

Remove pump-end bearing cover 360.01 and drive-end bearing cover 360.02
