Pump Set Assembly
Safety Precautions
Use suitable transport devices, lifting equipment and lifting tackle to move heavy assemblies or components.
Reassembly Guidelines
Reassemble the pump in accordance with the general rules of sound engineering practice.
Use original spare parts only.
Reassemble the pump according to the general assembly drawing or exploded view.
Seal Elements Inspection
Check O-rings for any damage and replace if required.
Use new gaskets with the same thickness as the old ones.

Remove gland follower 452 from casing cover 161 and remove the packing
Remove stuffing box ring 454
Remove packing rings 461 and lantern ring 458, if any

Is there any sign of wear on the coupling elements?
Replace relevant parts if there is any sign of wear
Check the alignment of the coupling

Pump Set Removal
Safety Precautions
Ensure only qualified personnel perform work on the pump set.
Allow the pump set to cool down to ambient temperature.
Use suitable transport devices and lifting equipment for heavy components.
Preparation for Pump Set Removal
Properly shut down the pump set.
Close the shut-off elements in suction and discharge line.
Drain the pump and release the pump pressure.
Close any auxiliary connections.
