Check for unfavourable operating conditions

Is early inspection required due to unfavourable conditions?

Bearing Inspection and Maintenance

Inspect bearings for the following issues

Clean the bearings if contamination is found

Relubricate the bearings if necessary

Is the grease quality as per DIN 51825 standards?

Verify notes and steps from Section 7.4.1 to Section 7.4.4 have been observed/carried out

Ensure the back pull-out unit is in a clean and level assembly area

Undo impeller nut 922 (right-hand thread)

Remove impeller 230 using an impeller removal device

Place impeller 230 on a clean and level surface

Remove keys 940.01 from shaft 210

Remove and dispose of joint rings 411.31/411.32

Check that all parts are in place after removal

⚠ CAUTION — Insufficient Inlet Pressure Due To Clogged Filter In The Suction Line. Damage to the pump!

Record the differential pressure across the filter

Is the differential pressure within the acceptable range?

Is filter cleaning required based on the pressure reading?

Was the filter cleaned successfully?

Ensure all tools and equipment are removed from the work area

Wear safety clothing and a protective mask, if required.

Have all legal regulations on the disposal of fluids posing a health hazard been observed?

Collect and properly dispose of flushing medium and any residues of the fluid handled.

Use connection 6B to drain the fluid handled

Have all residues been removed to prevent corrosion damage?

Is the pump set free from any residues that might ignite when coming into contact with oxygen?

NOTE: On pump sets with spacer-type couplings, the back pull-out unit can be removed while the motor remains bolted to the baseplate.

WARNING: Motor Tipping Over. Risk of crushing hands and feet!

Suspend or support the motor to prevent it from tipping over.

Disconnect the motor from the power supply.

Unbolt the motor from the baseplate.

Shift the motor to separate it from the pump.
