Overhead Door Corporation Release System FSCX-120VAC

Ensure all personnel are clear of the door and moving parts

Ensure the door path is clear of objects and people

Prohibit traffic through the door opening during testing

Turn ON power to the FSBX or FSCX and turn OFF power to the motor operator (if applicable)

Turn RTP to RESET, then NORMAL, to silence the troubles

Remove the Armature from the Retaining Bracket and align it with the Supervised Electromagnet

Mechanical Release Test with External Power

Place door in fully closed position

Disconnect all power from system and system components, including motors

Replace all system batteries simultaneously

Ensure replacement of the following batteries

Use proper tools and instructions for battery replacement

List proper replacement parts used

Ensure the door is open and there are no obstructions in its path.

Turn key switch to TEST and leave it there. The annunciator will turn on indicating that a door closure is about to occur.

Reset the FSCX by turning the key switch to the RESET position, then back to NORMAL.

DIP Switch Verification and Testing

Ensure the door is open and there are no obstructions in its path.

Verify the DIP switch at position 6 (relay board PRESENT) is set in the ON position on the Main Circuit Board.

Turn key switch to TEST and leave it there.

Reset the FSCX by turning the key switch to the RESET position, then back to NORMAL.

Three Cycle Obstruction Test with Release on Obstruction

Ensure the door is open and there are no obstructions in its path.

Turn key switch to TEST and leave it there. Confirm annunciator turns on indicating door closure is about to occur.

Reset the FSCX by turning the key switch to the RESET position, then back to NORMAL.
