Inspect Coupling Guard and Components

Check the coupling guard for deformation

Ensure sufficient distance of plastic components and other guards from rotating parts

Inspect Flexible Elements of the Coupling

Check the flexible elements of the coupling for signs of wear

Replace relevant parts if there is any sign of wear

Check the alignment of the coupling

Verify that the system is depressurized

Record the differential pressure across the filter

Is the differential pressure within the acceptable range?

Observe and carry out notes and steps from Section 7.4.1 to Section 7.4.7

Push shaft 210 with deep-groove ball bearing 321.01/.02 out of the bearing bracket

Heat up the deep-groove ball bearing to 80°C

Pull deep-groove ball bearing off shaft 210

Pull deep-groove ball bearing 321.01/.02 off the shaft in cold condition (for grease-lubricated models)

Dispose of joint rings 400.01/.02

Ensure the following safety measures are observed

Maintenance Schedule Preparation

Include the following in the maintenance schedule

Is the pump set serviced regularly?

Are all safety precautions in place before starting maintenance?

Ensure all parts are reassembled without using force

Ensure only qualified personnel perform work on the pump set.

Allow the pump set to cool down to ambient temperature.

Use suitable transport devices and lifting equipment for heavy components.

Properly shut down the pump set.

Close the shut-off elements in suction and discharge line.

Drain the pump and release the pump pressure.

Close any auxiliary connections.
