Stop the compressor package under full load

Lock the main disconnect in the 'off' position according to lock out/tag out procedures

Ensure the compressor package is completely depressurized

Twist the used oil filter cartridge counter clockwise to remove

Catch escaping oil in a suitable container

Clean the fittings before greasing

Grease the bearings on both ends of the shaft with the motor running

Close all maintenance doors and reattach all cover panels

Ensure bearings are not over greased

Remove bearing covers and/or end shields

Dispose of old grease according to environmental regulations

Lock the main disconnect in the 'off' position according to lock out/tag out procedures

Open the snap fasteners on the dust collector and remove it with the insert

Take the insert out of the dust collector

Pull out the air filter cartridge by turning slightly

Switch off the compressor package

Lock the main disconnect switch in the 'off' position

Choose cleaning method for the filter mat

Is the mat heavily soiled or cleaned more than five times?

Replace the filter mat if necessary

Ensure oil type and frequency of oil change are known (see chapter 1.8)

Ensure compressor package is warm to the touch (approx. 104°F)

Stop the compressor package under full load (see chapter 8.4)

Lock the main disconnect in the 'off' position according to lock out/tag out procedures

Depressurize the compressor package completely

Open the cover panel (2 and 3, see chapter 9.2)
