Ensure that the gas service valve is turned OFF

Unscrew the union nut situated immediately downstream of the gas service valve

Disconnect the spark and rectification leads from the control box

Remove the electrical plug connections from the top of the gas control valve assembly

Remove the burner heat shield screws

Release the inlet connection flange screws

Check that the primary sections of the burner tubes are clean and free from debris.

Remove the exhaust collector box to expose the rear sections of the burner tubes.

Carefully remove the swirlers and check for any deterioration.

Check the integrity of the burner tubes and clean if necessary.

Burner Tube Integrity Verification

Visually inspect the integrity of the burner tubes externally.

Check the flue gas composition with a gas analyser if visual inspection is not possible.

Disconnect the electrode leads from the control box

Remove the screw securing the electrode assembly to the burner assembly side plate

Withdraw the electrode assembly

Fit the replacement electrode assembly

Disconnect the thermistor from the exhaust fan outlet

Disconnect the two pin plug and socket connected to the end of the red/white cable situated behind the electrical chassis plate

Fit replacements as appropriate

Is the thermistor functioning correctly after replacement?

Describe any issues encountered during the replacement process

Ensure the machine is powered off

Verify that you have the correct replacement lamp

Disconnect the electrical plug from the R2R board

Squeeze and pop out the indicator bezel from the front panel

Fit the replacement lamp into the bezel

Reassemble the bezel into the front panel
