1 Weekly Condensate Drain Check
Precondition Check
Ensure the user's power supply disconnecting device is switched on
Verify the machine is pressurized
Check that the Power LED is lit
Condensate Drain Test
Lightly touch the condensate line at the condensate drain with one hand
Push and hold the «TEST» key at the condensate drain for at least 2 seconds with the other hand
Did you feel a short burst at the condensate line?
Service Unit Replacement
Refrigerant Condenser Cleaning
Preconditions
Ensure the power supply disconnecting device is switched off
Lock out / tag out the device
Verify the absence of voltage
Option K1: Air-cooling maintenance
Use compressed air to blow the refrigerant condenser clean at regular intervals
Was stubborn clogging removed by an authorized KAESER service representative?
Option K2: Water-cooling maintenance
Monitor the condensation temperature
Service Unit Replacement
Safety Precautions
Have all pressurized components and enclosures been fully vented?
Removing the Service Unit
Close the shut-off valve 9 upstream of the condensate drain.
Unscrew the fitting 6 at the condensate line.
Press the snap fastener and carefully remove the control module 2 from the service unit 1.
Carefully loosen the union nut 13 at the shut-off valve 9 until remaining residual air has escaped through the venting bores.
Unscrew the screw-in part 11 from the service unit 1 and place aside.
Remove the insulation 14 from the service unit 1.
