Verify that the battery's useful life is over or there is a foul smell and leakage.

Is the battery compartment opened by a qualified service engineer authorized by EDAN?

Ensure the following before replacing the battery

Contact the manufacturer or local distributor for battery disposal.

Dispose of the battery according to local regulations if not contacting the manufacturer.

Remove the paper from the recorder

Dampen a clean soft cloth with 75% alcohol

Wipe the print head gently with the dampened cloth

For stubborn stains, soak with a little alcohol and wipe off with a clean soft cloth

Allow the print head to air dry
