Is the monitor switched off and disconnected from the power line?

Is the sensor free from any signs of damage or deterioration?

Are all disposable accessories discarded?

Use a cotton ball or soft mull moistened with hospital-grade ethanol to wipe the surface of the sensor.

Dry the sensor with a cloth after cleaning.

Clean the luminotron and receiving unit using the same method as the sensor.

Clean the cable with 3% hydrogen dioxide, 70% isopropanol, or other active reagents, avoiding the connector.

Check for any mechanical damage on the monitor

Check the condition of outer cables, inserted modules, and accessories

Check all functions of the monitor to ensure it is in good condition

Is there any damage on the monitor?

Contact the biomedical engineer or EDAN if damage is found

Ensure overall check of the monitor is performed by qualified personnel every 6 to 12 months

Confirm the following warnings are acknowledged

Is the correct mode and alarm limit selected?

Verify probe cables fault detection by unplugging the temperature probe cable

Ensure TEMP probe and cable are coiled into a loose circle when not in use

Is the calibration of the temperature module due?

Contact the manufacturer for calibration instructions
