Refer servicing to qualified personnel.

Ensure the main unit is not immersed in any liquid.

Keep the device in a clean environment and avoid vibration during storage.

Do not sterilize the Doppler with autoclave or gas.

Ensure the environment is free from strong electromagnetic emissions.

Visual and Functional Inspection

Check for visible damages of the main unit and the probe.

Inspect the equipment for mechanical and functional damage.

Hold the main unit with one hand and pinch the jacket of the mini USB socket

Lift the jacket up slightly and pull it out with mild force

Ensure the probe cable was not pulled directly

Insert the USB socket of the new probe into the probe interface of the Doppler

Ensure the temporarily unused probe is placed carefully to avoid falling, splash, or stress

Check for visible evidence of damage

Is there any evident damage that may affect safety or capability?

Handle the probe with care to avoid damage

Wipe the remaining gel after use to prolong the probe life

Is replacement recommended due to evident damage?

Keep the exterior surface of the device clean and free of dust and dirt

Clean the exterior surface of the main unit with a dry, soft cloth

If necessary, clean the exterior surface using a soft cloth dampened with one of the following, then wipe dry immediately

Wipe the remaining coupling gel off the probe

Clean the probe using a soft cloth dampened with one of the following, then air-dry or wipe dry

Ensure the Doppler is shut down before proceeding

Verify that you have new alkaline batteries with identical specifications

Remove the low energy alkaline batteries from the main unit following section 3.2 guidelines

Dispose of the old batteries according to local regulations

Install the new alkaline batteries as per section 3.2 instructions
