Extract the lamp from the top, pull to disconnect the wire harness, and replace the lamp

Close and secure the evaporator door

Reconnect the main electrical power to the unit

Engage the sanitation cycle and let it run for 5 to 10 minutes

Is there a strong ozone smell inside the cabinet?

Inspect components for proper operation and seal

Use vacuum and brush to clean the condenser coil

Has the unit been defrosted today?

Wipe clean the interior of the unit using a solution of mild soap and water.

Wipe clean the exterior of the unit using a solution of mild soap and water.

Is the sanitation cycle engaged?

Ensure unit is properly installed

Verify electrical service according to manufacturer label

Verify proper drain pan installation or hard plumbed

Inspect drain lines for integrity and proper flow

Check door hinges and gasket for proper operation and seal

Clean door gasket with mild soapy warm water

Run the defrost cycle to ensure the coil is free of ice

Disconnect and lock the main power switch

Open the evaporator door by removing the screws and swing the door open

Use a vacuum cleaner or soft non-metallic bristle to remove surface fibers and dirt

Ensure water temperature is below 130°F

Ensure water pressure is below 100 PSI

Rinse the coil finned area and return bends with clean warm water
