Disconnect the unit from the main electrical power
Open the evaporator door
Remove the old lamp
Extract the lamp from the top, pull to disconnect the wire harness, and replace the lamp
Close and secure the evaporator door
Reconnect the main electrical power to the unit
Test the Sanitation cycle
Engage the sanitation cycle and let it run for 5 to 10 minutes

Defrosting and Cleaning
Defrost the unit daily or as needed
Wipe clean the interior and the exterior of the unit using a solution of mild soap and water
Wipe clean the door gasket
Engage the sanitation cycle (if equipped)
1 Monthly Evaporator Coil Cleaning
Preparation
Run the defrost cycle to ensure the coil is free of ice
Disconnect and lock the main power switch
Cleaning the Evaporator Coil
Open the evaporator door by removing the screws and swing the door open
Use a vacuum cleaner or a soft non-metallic bristle to remove surface fibers and dirt
Ensure water temperature is below 130°F during rinsing
Ensure water pressure is below 100 PSI during rinsing
Rinse the coil finned area and return bends with clean warm water
3 Monthly Evaporator Coil Cleaning
Preparation
Run the defrost cycle to ensure the coil is free of ice.
Disconnect and lock the main power switch.
Evaporator Door Access
Remove screws securing the evaporator door to the vertical frame.
Swing the evaporator door open.
Cleaning the Coil
Use a vacuum cleaner or soft non-metallic bristle brush to remove surface fibers and dirt in the direction of the fins.
Spray the coil finned area and return bends with the recommended coil cleaner using a pump-up sprayer or conventional spray bottle.
