Ensure unit is properly installed

Verify electrical service according to manufacturer label

Is the drain pan properly installed or hard plumbed?

Inspect drain lines for integrity and proper flow

Check door hinges and gasket for proper operation and seal

Clean door gasket with mild soapy warm water

Run the defrost cycle to ensure the coil is free of ice.

Disconnect and lock the main power switch.

Remove screws securing the evaporator door to the vertical frame.

Swing the evaporator door open.

Ensure the following products are NOT used for cleaning

Use a vacuum cleaner or soft non-metallic bristle brush to remove surface fibers and dirt.

Disconnect the unit from the main electrical power

Remove the screws on the right-hand side of the evaporator door

Gently push the lamp from the bottom side until enough of it is to grab

Extract the lamp from the top and disconnect the wire harness

Close and secure the evaporator door

Defrost the unit daily or as needed

Wipe clean the interior and exterior of the unit using a solution of mild soap and water

Engage the sanitation cycle (if equipped)

Run the defrost cycle to ensure the coil is free of ice

Disconnect and lock the main power switch

Open the evaporator door by removing the screws and swing the door open

Use a vacuum cleaner or a soft non-metallic bristle to remove surface fibers and dirt

Ensure water temperature is below 130°F

Ensure water pressure is below 100 PSI

Rinse the coil finned area and return bends with clean warm water
