Check filters at 60-day intervals

Can light be seen through the filter when held up to sunlight or a bright light?

Is filter replacement necessary based on light visibility?

Describe any adjustments to the filter check standard that may be desirable

Ensure all construction dirt and debris are removed from the water circulating system.

Connect supply and return run-outs together at each conditioner location if equipped with water shutoff valves.

Fill the system at the city water makeup connection with all air vents open.

Close all air vents after filling.

Start main circulator with the pressure reducing valve open.

Check vents in sequence to bleed off any trapped air

Is power to the heat rejector unit off and supplementary heat control set at 80°F (27°C)?

Install field sensors and land wires on the terminal block

LOCKOUT/TAGOUT all power sources prior to wiring or servicing the unit

Disconnect electric power before servicing equipment

Check unit configuration settings prior to operating the unit

Open water valves to full-open position and turn on power to the conditioner

Are all installed sensors set to ‘Installed’?

Is trending enabled if an SD card is installed?

Ensure all necessary equipment is ready

Is the system ready for charging?

Is a valve installed in the charging line to flash liquid to vapor?

Enter the superheat value (degrees)

Is the superheat value between 8 to 14 degrees?

Gently unscrew the filter from the probe

Rinse the filter under warm water until clean

Use warm soapy water if necessary

Gently replace the filter by screwing it back into the probe

Ensure the filter is screwed all the way into the probe
