Compressor ASSY Removal
Safety Precautions
Wait for 10 minutes after turning off all power supplies before starting disassembly.
Ensure room ventilation if refrigerant gas leaks during work.
Prepare wet cloth to extinguish fire immediately if refrigerant oil catches fire.
Collect all refrigerant gas to prevent atmospheric discharge.
Preparation
Ensure refrigerant gas is empty in the circuit.
Apply nitrogen replacement when heating brazed parts.
Provide protective sheet or steel plate to shield peripheries from brazing flame.
Outdoor Fan / Fan Motor Removal
Warning: Wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
Pull out the 2 terminals (red, white) from the compressor capacitor (C1R).
Pull out the terminal (5) from the magnetic contactor (K1M).
Release the fan motor lead wire from the groove.
Make note of the wiring pattern before removing.
Remove the screw of the fan motor fixing plate.
Remove the fan motor fixing plate.
Remove the nut and remove the outdoor fan.
Remove the nut (Nut size: M6).

Open the fuse cover and remove the fuse (F1U).

Pull out the remaining terminal from the compressor capacitor (C1R).
Remove the 2 screws (M4×8) and remove the capacitor fixing band.
Remove the compressor capacitor (C1R).
