Ensure work equipment is in a stable condition

Lock the safety lock lever securely

Set the work equipment to the specified position

Stop the engine and lock the lever

Remove all dirt from the surface of the window glass

Remove all dirt from the surface of the lens of the front lamps and working lamps

Do the front lamps and working lamps light up correctly?

Fluid Levels and Air Cleaner Check

Check the oil level in engine oil pan

Is the air cleaner free of clogging?

Stop the machine on firm horizontal ground, lower the work equipment to the ground, then stop the engine

Pump in grease through grease fittings

Wipe off any old grease that was pushed out

Check that all grease fittings are properly lubricated

Clean the work area after lubrication

Remove bolts (1) (2 bolts) on the top of the revolving frame

Measure the height of the grease where the pinion passes

Is the grease level at least 14 mm (0.6 in)?

Contact Komatsu distributor for turbocharger cleaning or inspection

Alternator and Starting Motor Inspection

Contact Komatsu distributor for alternator and starting motor inspection or repair

Has the engine been started frequently?

If yes, ensure inspection every 1000 hours
