Road Liner Replacement Decision

Do all road liners need replacement?

Do only some road liners need replacement?

Contact Komatsu distributor for repair or replacement advice

Order road liner replacing tools from Komatsu distributor if needed

Wait for the temperature to go down before starting the operation.

Remove dipstick (G) and wipe the oil from the dipstick with a cloth.

Insert dipstick (G) fully in the guide.

Check if the oil level is between the H and L marks on the dipstick.

If the oil does not reach the L mark on dipstick (G), remove oil filler (F), and add engine oil.

If the oil level exceeds the H mark on the dipstick, loosen drain plug to drain the excess oil.

After checking oil level or adding oil, insert the dipstick into the hole and install oil filler cap.

Confirm all tools and materials are removed from the work area.

Wait for the temperature to go down before cleaning the breather element in the hydraulic tank.

Turn the oil filler cap slowly to release the internal pressure, then remove it carefully.

Remove the cap from oil filler (F) at the top of the hydraulic tank.

Ensure the new breather element is securely in place.

Check for any oil leaks around the oil filler cap.

Ensure all parts have cooled down before starting the procedure.

Ensure no fire or sparks are near the fuel area.

Prepare a container to catch the fuel.

Set the container under the filter cartridge to catch the fuel.

Use a filter wrench to turn filter cartridge (1) counter-clockwise to remove it.

Set the work equipment in the greasing posture

Lower the work equipment to the ground

Use a grease pump to pump in grease through the grease fittings shown by arrows

Wipe off any old grease that was pushed out
