Heat Sink Cleaning for ASC320 VFDs

Turn off and lock out unit power for ASC320 VFDs

Insert a small straight blade screwdriver into the slot and press in to release the top cover

Blow clean compressed air from top of ACS320 while using a vacuum cleaner at the base to trap the dust

Heat Sink Cleaning for AHC550 VFDs

Turn off and lock out unit power for AHC550 VFDs

Check the following indoor components

Verify the following heating components

Inspect the following air conditioning components

Debris and Vegetation Clearance

Clear away debris near the unit

Clear away vegetation near the unit

Clean or replace the air filter if dirty

Is the unit located in a corrosive climate?

Rinse the condenser coil if located in a corrosive climate

Align pulleys visually and tighten setscrews on fan pulley to lock it in place

Use the methods shown in Fig. 35 to check proper pulley alignment

Are the pulleys in correct alignment?

Loosen the motor holddown bolts and slide the motor axially until the pulleys are aligned

Refer to the fan motor, drive data and performance data in Tables 14-27

Replace components that are damaged or severely rusted

Inspect electrical disconnect for proper function

Repair or replace electrical disconnect as necessary

Inspect electrical wiring and connections

Perform functional test of equipment
