Ice Cream Machine Rear Seal Assembling
Lubrication and Installation
Install the rear seal o-ring onto the auger.
Lubricate the outside of the o-ring with a generous amount of Total Blend lubricant.
Lubricate the inside metal surface of the rear seal and install it onto the auger shaft.
Ensure the outside of the rear auger seal is not lubricated.
Lubricate the hex drive end of the auger with a small amount of Total Blend lubricant.
Compliance Check
Is Total Blend sanitary lubricant or equivalent used for lubrication?
Is the lubricant certified for use on food processing equipment?
Ice Cream Machine Auger Disassembling
Initial Disassembly
Remove the front auger support and bushing
Remove the auger assembly from the machine
Pull the auger out of the freezing cylinder slowly
Auger Flights Removal
Carefully remove each of the plastic flights with springs as the auger is being pulled out
Keep the rear of the auger tipped up once it is clear of the freezing cylinder to prevent the rear seal assembly from dropping
Lubricant and Seal Cleaning
Wipe the lubricant off of the hex end of the auger with a paper towel

To assemble the machine parts, refer to the following steps.
Repeat for each freezing cylinder.
Lubrication Notice
Use Total Blend sanitary lubricant or equivalent when lubrication of machine parts is specified.
Ensure not to use more than one packet of Total Blend per freezing cylinder.
Verify that lubricants used are certified for food processing equipment.
Front Door Assembly
Install the o-rings onto the spigot bodies and apply a thin layer of sanitary lubricant to the o-rings.
Install the spigot bodies through the bottom of the front door.

Ensure the machine is disconnected from electrical supply before servicing.
Verify that the service is performed by a qualified electrician/refrigeration specialist.
Drive Belt Inspection
Check drive belts for wear.
Tighten drive belts if necessary.
1 Monthly Condenser Filter Check
WARNING: Hazardous voltage. The machine must be disconnected from electrical supply before servicing.
