Ice Cream Machine Rear Seal Assembling
Lubrication and Installation
Install the rear seal o-ring onto the auger.
Lubricate the outside of the o-ring with a generous amount of Total Blend lubricant.
Lubricate the inside metal surface of the rear seal and install it onto the auger shaft.
Lubricate the hex drive end of the auger with a small amount of Total Blend lubricant.
Repeat for each freezing cylinder
Specify the lubricant used
Was only one packet of Total Blend used per freezing cylinder?
Ice Cream Machine Motor Calibration
Ensure sanitizer is in the freezing cylinders
Press the On/Off Left or On/Off Right button to display the Motor Calibration screen
Select both sides for calibration
Brush the hopper sides and cover with a clean sanitized brush
Record the calibration information in the startup form
Press the left arrow button after recording the information
Drain the machine of sanitizer
1 Daily Ice Cream Machine Check
WARNING: Hazardous voltage. The machine must be disconnected from electrical supply before servicing. Failure to disconnect power before servicing could result in death or serious injury.
Ensure the machine is disconnected from the electrical supply
Check for worn or broken parts
Replace worn or broken parts as necessary
Check for any unusual noise or condition
Repair any unusual noise or condition immediately
WARNING: Service must be completed by a qualified electrician/refrigeration specialist. Improper service may cause severe personal injury, or damage to the machine.
Ice Cream Machine Auger Disassembling
Initial Disassembly
Remove the front auger support and bushing
Remove the auger assembly from the machine
Pull the auger out of the freezing cylinder slowly
Plastic Flights and Springs Removal
Carefully remove each of the plastic flights with springs as the auger is being pulled out
Keep the rear of the auger tipped up to prevent the rear seal assembly from dropping
Lubricant Removal and Rear Seal Disassembly
Wipe the lubricant off of the hex end of the auger with a paper towel
1 Monthly Condenser Filter Check
Safety Precautions
Disconnect the machine from electrical supply
Ensure the machine is powered off before servicing
Condenser Filter Inspection
Check the condenser filter for dirt
Clean the condenser filter if necessary
Service Completion
Ensure service is completed by a qualified electrician/refrigeration specialist
