Indoor Unit Ceiling Panel Cleaning
Safety Precautions
Ensure cleaning and maintenance operations are carried out by specially trained personnel.
Turn off the air conditioner and disconnect the power before cleaning.
Avoid pouring water on the indoor unit to prevent damage and electric shock.
Cleaning Instructions
Select cleaning method for the ceiling panel
Is the ceiling panel stained?
Use a clean cloth moistened with a mild liquid detergent if stained.
Be careful not to force the flaps out of place while cleaning.
Indoor Unit Air Grille Cleaning
Grille Detachment
Open the air intake grille
Detach the safety cord from the frame
Hold on the air intake grille and pull it towards you to detach the two air intake grille hinges
Grille Cleaning
Clean the grille gently using a soft sponge
Dry the grille with care
Was neutral detergent used to remove stubborn dirt?
Rinse thoroughly with water and dry it
6 Monthly Indoor Unit Air Filter Cleaning
Filter Removal
Slide the two latches of the air intake grille with your thumbs in the direction of the arrow to open the grille.
Open the air intake grille downward.
Press the tabs on both sides of the air filter to release the filter, then lift and pull the filter up and out using the tabs to remove it.
Filter Cleaning
Choose the method for cleaning the filter
Filter Reinstallation
Insert the filter correctly again inside the grille.
Close the grille letting the latches slide towards the outside and fix again the latch.
PCB Assembly Fuse Continuity Check
Preparation
Remove the PCB Ass'y from the electrical component box
Pull out the fuse from the PCB Ass'y
Continuity Check
Measure the resistance of the fuse using a multimeter
Is the insulation in good condition?
Post-Check
Reinsert the fuse into the PCB Ass'y
Place the PCB Ass'y back into the electrical component box
Indoor Unit Flaps Cleaning
Preparation
Stop the operation of the indoor unit
Flap Removal and Cleaning
Remove the air outlet flap
Wash the flap with water
Drying and Remounting
Allow the flap to dry completely
Remount the flap
