Disconnect power to avoid electrical shock hazard.

Ensure stability of footstool or ladder to prevent falls.

Slide the 2 latches to the corresponding arrow direction.

Open the air intake grill downward on the latch side.

Undo the air intake grill drop preventive hook.

Undo the 2 hinges and remove the air intake grill.

Disconnect Connectors in the Control Box

Stop the operation of the indoor unit

Allow the flap to dry completely

Remove the PCB Ass'y from the electrical component box

Pull out the fuse from the PCB Ass'y

Measure the resistance using a multimeter

Is the resistance greater than 1M ohm?

Reinsert the fuse into the PCB Ass'y

Place the PCB Ass'y back into the electrical component box

Slide the two latches of the air intake grille with your thumbs in the direction of the arrow to open the grille.

Open the air intake grille downward.

Press the tabs on both sides of the air filter to release the filter, then lift and pull the filter up and out using the tabs.

Choose the cleaning method for the filter

Insert the filter correctly again inside the grille.

Close the grille letting the latches slide towards the outside and fix again the latch.

Detach the safety cord from the frame

Detach the air intake grille hinges

Ensure the safety cord is not removed during cleaning

Be aware of exposed rotating parts and electrically charged areas
