Secure the bottom of the filter with the protrusions on the unit

Close the front panel by pushing the center of the front panel

Press both edges until the panel clicks into place

Open the front panel by pulling forward and up

Lift the filter slightly to disengage it from the protrusions

Remove the filter by pulling downward

Use a vacuum cleaner to remove light dust from the filter

Is there sticky dust on the filter?

Wash the filter in lukewarm, soapy water

Cleaning the Main Unit and Remote Controller

Wipe clean using a soft, dry cloth

Moisten a cloth in warm water no hotter than 104°F, wring thoroughly, and then wipe to remove stubborn dirt

Remove the front panel for washing

Wash the front panel with water

Open the front panel until it is nearly horizontal.

Grasp the sections near the front panel arms on both sides.

Remove the panel by pushing the arms towards the outside while pulling the panel towards you.

If the front panel is difficult to remove, did you lift it up slightly and disengage the arms?

Grasp the sections near the front panel arms on both sides and hold the front panel nearly horizontal.

Push the arm shafts towards the outside to contact the top of the indentations on both sides.

Push firmly until the arm shafts click into place.

Adjust vertical vanes to the left or right using hands

Are vertical vanes in the front position during high humidity?

Is the remote controller turned on?

Select the flap function using the FLAP button

Is the flap pointed down during cooling operation?

Did the flap position and fan speed change to the settings specified with the remote controller?
