Ensure all necessary tools and equipment are available

Inspect the belt for visible wear or damage

Measure the span length (t) in inches

Measure the center distance (C) in inches

Measure the larger sheave diameter (D) in inches

Measure the smaller sheave diameter (d) in inches

Measure the deflection height (h) in inches

Is the unit set to high speed or heat mode?

Verify the following conditions before proceeding

Measure the current draw of the motor

Enter the full load current rating of the motor

Is the current draw within the full load current rating?

Is the amperage within the service factor on the motor nameplate?

Ensure the cabinet surface is clean and dry

Apply a fine grade automotive wax to the cabinet finish

Is the wax applied evenly across the surface?

Check the cabinet finish for high luster

Is the cabinet finish free from streaks or residue?

Does the fan rotate clockwise when viewed from the drive side of the unit?

If fan does not rotate clockwise, reverse any two incoming power cables at Single Point Power Block and repeat bearing check

Ensure not to change load side wiring

Verify internal wiring assures correct rotation of all motors and compressors after evaporator fan motor rotation check

Inspect the filters for dirt and debris

Remove the filter access panel on return side of the unit

Discard dirty throwaway filters

Replace with new, clean filters

Verify the following are in place after maintenance
