Open the suction grill by pushing both knobs simultaneously and carefully lowering the grille.

Open the suction grill 45 degrees and lift it upward to detach it.

Detach the air filter as per the figure in item No. 2 in chapter 'How to clean the air filter' on page 12.

Clean the suction grill with a soft brush and neutral detergent, and dry thoroughly.

If the suction grill is very dirty, did you use a typical kitchen cleaner and let it sit for about 10 minutes before washing it with water?

Confirm that only a qualified service person is performing the maintenance

Interrupt all power supply circuits before accessing terminal devices

Ensure water or air used for cleaning is below 120°F

Remove switchbox, fan motor, and drain pump before cleaning the heat exchanger

Ensure no water or detergent contacts electric components

Is the display showing 'TIME TO CLEAN AIR FILTER'?

Is the unit installed in a room with extremely contaminated air?

Is it difficult to remove stains?

Use water or neutral detergent if stains are difficult to remove

Is the blade extremely contaminated?

Remove the blade for cleaning if extremely contaminated

Ensure gasoline, benzene, thinner, polishing powder, or liquid insecticide are not used

Ensure the indoor unit does not get wet to prevent electric shock or fire
