Unit Check
Voltage Application
Apply proper operating voltage to terminals L1 and L2/N.
Connect power supply ground to the green ground screw in housing base.
Transducer Operational Check
Fill a suitable container with liquid.
Place transducer gap in the liquid.
Did the relay output actuate?
Remove transducer from the liquid.
Did the relay output de-actuate?
Echotel 910 Mounting
Preparation
Ensure all necessary tools and materials are available
Mounting Procedure
Determine the mounting position
Is the transducer gap turned vertical for horizontal mounting?
Screw transducer into the opening using pipe compound or thread tape
Is the unit flanged?
Bolt unit to mating flange with proper gasket
Ensure the transducer gap extends into the tank at least one inch beyond the inside tank wall
Power Wiring
Preparation
Ensure the power is turned off
Unscrew and remove the housing cover
Moisture Prevention
Install an approved seal-drain fitting in the conduit run leading to the unit to prevent moisture seepage into housing
Wiring
Route wires into housing
Connect ground wire to green ground screw located in the base of the housing. Do not proceed until ground connection is made
Connect the power leads to proper terminals
