Unit Check
Voltage Application
Apply proper operating voltage to terminals L1 and L2/N.
Connect power supply ground to the green ground screw in housing base.
Transducer Operational Check
Fill a suitable container with liquid.
Place transducer gap in the liquid and check if the relay output actuates.
Remove transducer from the liquid and check if the relay output de-actuates.
Consult Section 3.1, Troubleshooting on page 7 if there is a malfunction.

Echotel 910 Mounting
Preparation
Ensure all necessary tools and materials are available
Mounting Position
Select the mounting position for the Echotel 910
If mounted horizontally, is the transducer gap turned vertical for proper drainage?
Mounting Procedure
Screw transducer into the opening using pipe compound or thread tape
If flanged, is the unit bolted to the mating flange with a proper gasket?
Ensure the transducer gap extends into the tank at least one inch beyond the inside tank wall when installed in a nozzle or pipe
Power Wiring
Preparation
Make sure the power is turned off
Unscrew and remove the housing cover
Installation
Install an approved seal-drain fitting in the conduit run to prevent moisture seepage
Route wires into housing
Connect ground wire to green ground screw in the base of the housing
Connect the power leads to proper terminals
Dress wiring to ensure no interference or contact with cover or circuit board components
