Ensure only a qualified service person performs maintenance.

Interrupt all power supply circuits before accessing terminal devices.

Avoid using water or air of 120°F or higher for cleaning air filters and outside panels.

Remove the switchbox, fan motor, and drain pump before cleaning the heat exchanger.

Ensure water or detergent does not contact electric components to prevent insulation deterioration.

Is the display showing 'TIME TO CLEAN AIR FILTER'?

Is the unit installed in a room with extremely contaminated air?

Use water or neutral detergent if stains are difficult to remove

Remove and clean the blade if it is extremely contaminated

Ensure gasoline, benzene, thinner, polishing powder, or liquid insecticide are not used

Ensure the indoor unit does not get wet to prevent electric shock or fire

Open the suction grill by pushing both knobs simultaneously and carefully lowering the grille.

Open the suction grill 45 degrees and lift it upward to detach it.

Detach the air filter as per the figure in item No. 2 in chapter 'How to clean the air filter' on page 12.

Wash the suction grill with a soft brush and neutral detergent, and dry thoroughly.

Is the suction grill very dirty?

If very dirty, use a typical kitchen cleaner and let it sit for about 10 minutes, then wash with water.
