Push shaft 210 with deep-groove ball bearing 321.01/.02 out of the bearing bracket
Heat up the deep-groove ball bearing to 80°C and pull it off shaft 210
Pull deep-groove ball bearing 321.01/.02 off the shaft in cold condition for grease-lubricated models
Dispose of joint rings 400.01/.02
Rolling Element Bearing Oil Change
Safety Precautions
Wear safety clothing and a protective mask, if required
Ensure a suitable container for the used oil is on hand
Place the container underneath the screw plug
Undo the screw plug at the bearing bracket and drain the oil
Re-insert and re-tighten the screw plug after draining
Re-fill with oil
Collect and dispose of any lubricants
Observe all legal regulations on the disposal of fluids posing a health hazard
Back Pull-Out Unit Removal
WARNING — Back Pull-Out Unit Tipping Over. Risk of crushing hands and feet!
Suspend or support the bearing bracket at the pump end
Suspend or support bearing bracket 330 to prevent it from tipping over, if required
Unbolt support foot 183 from the baseplate
Undo hexagon nut 920.01 at the volute casing
Pull the back pull-out unit out of the volute casing
Remove and dispose of joint ring 411.10
Place the back pull-out unit on a clean and level surface
Pump Set Check
Lubrication and Bearings Check
Check the lubricant level regularly.
Check the rolling element bearings for running noises.
Shaft Seal and Barrier Fluid System
Service the shaft seal regularly.
Service the barrier fluid system regularly.
Monitor the barrier fluid pressure.
Operational Safety Checks
Ensure the pump set is not operated without liquid fill.
