Unscrew the ventilation/discharge filter (212)

Visually inspect the filter for contamination

Insert a new filter if contaminated

Screw the ventilation/discharge filter back on

Collect any spilled hydraulic oil

Ensure no flammable fluids are used for cleaning.

Remove all deposits of flammable materials from the engine compartment.

Cover all electronic system assemblies before cleaning with a pressure washer.

Avoid cleaning the truck with pressurized water.

Prepare the truck for maintenance and repairs.

Clean the following areas with water-based solvents and a sponge or cloth

Dry the truck after cleaning with compressed air or a dry cloth.

WARNING! Batteries can be hazardous

Wear protective clothing and goggles

Ensure no contact with skin, clothing, or eyes

Neutralize spilled battery acid with water

Call a doctor if battery acid contacts skin or eyes

Check the battery housing for cracks and any spilled acid

Remove any oxidisation remains from the battery terminals

WARNING!: Using different tyres can cause accidents

Prepare the truck for maintenance and repairs

Ensure the following tools and materials are available

Torque the wheel nuts crosswise with a torque wrench

Is the wheel attachment checked?

Prepare the truck for maintenance and repairs

Open the rear cover of the truck

Remove the electrical system cap

Check condition and rating of the fuses

Insert the fuse to be checked in the fuse socket (53 F21)

Is the LED lit indicating the fuse is intact?
