Check identification points, data plates, and warnings

Replace identification points, data plates, and warnings if necessary

Check tilt safety devices are present and secure

Ensure decals are present, legible, and valid

Check battery panel and sides are secure

Test the operation of the battery panel attachment and check for damage

Check wheels for wear and damage

Are all batteries insulated with cells and terminal connectors?

Is the truck horizontal to prevent battery fall?

Are the mains and charger switched off before connecting or disconnecting the battery?

Lift up the battery panels and lift them out.

Undo the battery retainer by moving the lever and remove the retainer.

Check all load bearing components for damage

Test the operator platform and check for damage

Lubricate the bearing point between the drive motor and transmission

Check transmission for noise and leakage

Check and lubricate suspension and attachment

Replace ventilation and discharge filter on hydraulic reservoir

Replace hydraulic oil and filter cartridge

Check hydraulic hoses for leaks and damage

Measure the chain length over the deflection pulley

Has the chain elongated by 2% or more?

Has the chain elongated by 3% or more?

Inspect the chain for visible damage

Is the truck fitted with two lift chains?

Replace both chains if necessary
