Engine guard (1) is in good condition

Skid plate (2) is in good condition

Are the guard and plate bolts secure?

If any parts are cracked, damaged or loose, proceed to the next steps

Upload a photo of the damaged parts

Estimated cost for replacement parts

Sign off on the skid plate & engine guard check

Brake pad wear will depend upon the severity of usage and riding conditions. The pads will wear faster in wet or muddy conditions.

Inspect the pads visually during all regular service intervals to determine the pad wear.

Check the wear indicator (1). If the wear indicator aligns with the edge of the reference mark (2), both pads must be replaced.

See your dealer for this replacement.

Always inspect both pads in both the right and left front brake calipers.

Sign off on the brake pad wear check

Safety Precautions: This procedure requires mechanical skill and professional tools such as a torque wrench. If you do not have the skills or the tools, see your dealer.

NOTICE: Using the wrong oil filter may result in leaks or engine damage.

Change the oil with the engine warm to assure complete and rapid draining.

Upload a photo of the removed oil check lid and the oil fill cap/dipstick from the front crankcase.

Engine oil drain bolt and sealing washer removed?

Install a New Engine Oil Filter: Place shop towels under the oil filter cover because oil will flow out.

Upload a photo of the removed seat.

Upload a photo of the removed tank cover assembly.
