Warning: Ensure all exterior and interior lights and the ignition are switched off before starting.

Did you hold the new bulb at the base?

Did you avoid touching the bulb glass with bare hands?

Select the type of bulb used for replacement

Replace headlight bulbs from within the engine compartment.

Did you replace the bulb from within the engine compartment?

After a bulb replacement switch on the ignition, operate and check the lights.

Did you switch on the ignition and check the lights after replacement?

Sign off on the bulb replacement

Warning: Incorrect tyre pressures will impair safety, vehicle handling, comfort and fuel economy and will increase tyre wear.

Warning: If the pressure is too low, this can result in considerable tyre warm-up and internal damage, leading to tread separation and even to tyre blow-out at high speeds.

Warning: Never exceed the maximum tyre pressure as indicated on the tyre.

Check the pressure of cold tyres

Check the pressure of the spare wheel

Enter the engine identifier code

Is the tyre pressure within the recommended range?

Insert a screwdriver in the recess of the cover and remove it

Pull the bulb from the bulb holder and replace it

Wrap a cloth around the tip of a flat screwdriver to prevent paint damage. Insert the screwdriver in the recess at the edge of the cover.

Release the cover by levering it out carefully.

Unscrew and remove the two screws and remove the light assembly to the front.

Turn the bulb socket anticlockwise and remove it from the light assembly.

Disengage the plug connector by pulling the retaining lug.

Remove and replace the bulb unit and attach the plug connector.

Note: that the bulb and the socket are one unit and have to be changed together.

Insert the bulb socket into the light assembly by turning clockwise and engage.

Mount the light assembly by tightening the two screws.

Warning: Brake fluid is poisonous and corrosive. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, fabrics and painted surfaces.

The brake fluid level must be between the DANGER and MAX marks.

Is the brake fluid level between the DANGER and MAX marks?

If fluid level is below DANGER, seek the assistance of a workshop.
