Visual inspection of filter element

Place a bright light inside the element

Check for rupture, crack, or pin hole in the pleated media

Measure pressure drop through the filter with a freshly cleaned element

Is the pressure drop below three (3) inches (76 mm) of water with the compressor running at full load?

Test the relief valve for proper operation

Check shutdowns for proper operation

Is the 'CHANGE AIR FILTER' message displayed?

Check the condition of the air filter

Clean the air filter if it is dirty

Replace the air filter if it is damaged

Is the air filter properly installed?

Reset the 'CHANGE AIR FILTER' message if applicable

Observe if the unit loads and unloads properly

Check Panel LED’s for advisories

Is the 'CHANGE AIR FILTER' LED illuminated?

Ensure genuine Gardner Denver air filter elements are available.

Unfasten the clips and pull out the filter element.

Visually inspect the filter element for cleanliness.
