Warning: Wait 10 minutes after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.

Remove three screws from the right side panel

Disengage hook on the right side panel

Loosen the hexagon head set screw on the fan rotor

Remove a screw on the left side panel

Wait 10 minutes after turning off all power supplies before starting disassembly.

Remove the installation frame from the mounting plate.

Gas Leak and Refrigerant Handling

Wait 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.

Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds to initiate forced cooling operation for approx. 15 minutes.

Pull protrusions on left and right sides of panel with fingers and open front grille all the way.

Lift center section of air filter and disengage hooks.

Remove air filter by pulling forward.

Check if left and right filters are interchangeable.

Operate the unit for several minutes

Shut down the operation using the circuit breaker

Exercise caution to prevent electric shock

Set the multi-tester to VOLTAGE RANGE

With the power ON, operation OFF, and the connector connected, check the following

Output voltage of about 5 V between pins 1 and 3

Is the output voltage approximately 5 V?

Generation of 3 pulses between pins 2 and 3 when the fan motor is operating

If the output voltage is not approximately 5 V, replace the PCB

If 3 pulses were not generated, replace the fan motor

If both the output voltage is not approximately 5 V and 3 pulses were not generated, replace the PCB
