Bell Mouth / Left Side Plate Removal

Safety Precautions

Ensure all power supplies are turned off

Wait for 10 minutes after turning off power supplies

Bell Mouth Removal

Remove the bell mouth from the front plate

Slide the bell mouth in the arrow direction to disengage hook B

External Casing Removal

Pre-removal Safety Check

Ensure all power supplies are turned off

Wait for 10 minutes after turning off power supplies

Stop Valve Cover Removal

Remove the fixed screw from the stop valve cover

Slide the cover downward to remove using the three hooks provided

Forced Cooling Operation

Perform forced cooling operation by pushing the operation switch on the main unit for five seconds

Top Plate and Front Plate Removal

Compressor Removal

Pre-removal Safety Precautions

Wait 10 minutes after turning off all power supplies before starting disassembly

Prepare wet cloth to extinguish fire quickly

Ensure proper ventilation in case of refrigerant leak

Remove Parts Around Compressor

Remove terminal cover and lead wires of the compressor

Remove the four way valve and motor valve

Remove the mounting nut using an open-end wrench

Confirm refrigerant is completely empty in the refrigerant circuit

Power Transistor Check

Ensure voltage between Power transistor (+) and (-) is approximately 0 volts

Disconnect Compressor Harness Connector

Press the protrusion on the connector to disengage it from the outdoor unit PCB

Measure Resistance

Measure resistance between Power transistor (+) and (-) and U terminal of compressor connector

Measure resistance between Power transistor (+) and (-) and V terminal of compressor connector

Measure resistance between Power transistor (+) and (-) and W terminal of compressor connector

Evaluate measurement results for pass/fail judgment

Air Conditioner Cleaning

CAUTION: Before cleaning, be sure to stop the operation and turn the breaker OFF.

Indoor unit, Outdoor unit and Remote controller

Wipe them with dry soft cloth.

CAUTION: Don’t touch the metal parts of the indoor unit. If you touch those parts, this may cause an injury.

CAUTION: When removing or attaching the front grille, use a robust and stable stool and watch your steps carefully.

CAUTION: When removing or attaching the front grille, support the grille securely with hand to prevent it from falling.

CAUTION: For cleaning, do not use hot water above 40 °C, benzine, gasoline, thinner, nor other volatile oils, polishing compound, scrubbing brushes, nor other hand stuff.

Ensure the front grille is securely fixed after cleaning.
