Outdoor Fan / Fan Motor Removal
Warning: Wait for 10 minutes after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
Outdoor Fan Removal
Remove the nuts and remove the outdoor fans.
Fan Motor Preparation
Cut the clamp.
Pull out the connector while supporting the fan motor and pushing the engaging hook, without pulling its lead wires.
Remove the lower screws first.
Fan Motor Removal
Remove the 4 screws and remove the fan motor.
Four Way Valve Removal
Safety Precautions
Wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
Ensure pipes and parts heated by the gas brazing machine are cool to avoid burns.
Is the room ventilated in case of refrigerant gas leakage?
Collect all refrigerant gas to prevent atmospheric discharge.
Cautions for Restoration
Restore the piping by non-oxidation brazing.
Wrap the four way valve with wet cloth and provide water to keep it below 120°C (248°F).
Preparation
PCB / Electrical Component Removal
Warning: Be sure to wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
Remove the terminal cover (The U.S. models only)
Remove the screw on the terminal cover (upper) and open the terminal cover (upper).
Remove the screw and open the terminal cover (lower).
Remove the 2 screws and remove the terminal covers.
Remove the PCBs and electrical components
Remove the 2 screws of the terminal mounting plate. (Except the U.S. models.)
Remove the screw above the electrical component assembly.
Unfasten the clamp from the terminal mounting plate.
Electronic Expansion Valve / Peripheral Equipment Removal
Safety Precautions
Wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power supplies before disassembling work.
Ensure proper ventilation if refrigerant gas leaks during work.
Collect all refrigerant gas to prevent atmospheric discharge.
Cautions for Restoration
Restore the piping by non-oxidation brazing.
Wrap the four way valve with wet cloth and provide water to prevent overheating.
Preparation
Ensure the refrigerant gas is empty in the circuit.
Thermistor Removal

Removal of Thermistors
Remove the outdoor temperature thermistor (R1T)
Pull out the discharge pipe thermistor (R2T)
Pull out the suction pipe thermistors (R3T) and (R5T)
Pull out the subcooling thermistor (R6T) and the liquid pipe thermistor (R7T)
Pull out the outdoor heat exchanger thermistor (R4T)
